Reading:Read for 30 minutes - logs due tomorrow; Create post-its while reading - You can create "digital post-its" in your Reading Digital Notebook or use actual post-its. This week we have been working on envisionment & empathizing with characters.  Kids should stop & jot their thinking while they're reading their independent books.) Social Studies: Extra Credit Opportunity!! If you are reading this in the next hour, watch the president's address tonight on the news, or listen to it on the radio (91.5 f.m. for example) and write a one page report explaining how the President intends to reform immigration policy.
