Reading:Read for 30 minutes (No vocab this week due to extra writing homework); Odyssey (8 activities & 2 hours) by Tuesday (counts for April 8-21)
Writing: Complete
any revisions you did not complete in school. Students only need to
work on the parts of the rubric we completed together in class (angling mini-stories & ending with a sentence that refers back to the topic sentence.) We begin drafting tomorrow. We will be having a Writing Celebration next Tuesday, and students need to have completed their Published Essays by this day.
Math: We worked on comparing the areas of different shapes. The homework is Math Boxes and Home Link 5-8. We will be having quizzes over the next two weeks focused on fractions, decimals, and percents. The one tomorrow will be changing decimals to percents and percents to decimals.
