6th Grade
Reading: Read for 30 minutes; Odyssey (4 activities & 1 hour) by Tuesday; Vocabulary Flashcards
Writing: Students are working on their essay envelopes and making sure they have transitions in the beginning of their mini-stories as well as a beginning, middle and end to their story that is in narrative form.  If they didn't finish this in class, they should finish for homework.
Math: We took notes on finding the surface area of several objects. Your child should have brought home the notes to help with the Home Link 5-6. We are also reviewing adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions and decimals.
Social Studies: Room 206-Bring index cards to class tomorrow
Room 208- Complete Introduction to Ancient Greece.  Bring index cards to class tomorrow.
Science:  BEGIN PROJECT RESEARCH. SEE GREEN TIMELINE! Parents must monitor and sign for each task. Research handouts provided.
